Hello!

I'm rather new to this (Started around 3 days ago). And after i was "experimenting" with some mods i realized that i had messed up (Big time) with FNIS, Sexlabs and pretty much everything else. So i wiped my Skyrim folder (Just deleted it from SteamApps) and downloaded it again on Steam i also deleted Mod Organiser and everything else, so i'm re-installing it all I've got the Mod Organizer running and SKSE up but I've appeared to of encountered an issue with the Generate_FNIS_for_Users where i get this error message

>>Warning: Bad installation. Generator not run from a Skyrim installation directory.<<

Generator: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim\ModOrganizer\mods\Fores New Idles in Skyrim - FNIS\tools\GenerateFNIS_for_Users\GenerateFNISforUsers.exe

Reading FNISBase V5.2 ...

All Anim Lists scanned. Generating Behavior Files ...

Creature Pack not installed

129 animations for 2 mods successfully included (character)

Could anyone help me "De-Code" this issue?

You need to run FNIS from Mod organizer, just like you run skyrim for it to detect your mods.

Open the dropdown box next to the big RUN button and go to 'edit'

Where it says 'binary' click the '...' button and navigate to your fnis generator for users folder and ok the exe

name it FNIS (or something you'll know what it is, FNIS is good) in the 'title'

Uncheck 'close MO when started'

and click OK

It should ask you if you want to create new or something like that and ok that too.

Then navigate to your new executable from that dropdown box and click the big run button. That should clear up most of your issues with FNIS.

With mod organizer you shouldn't ever have to do a complete reinstall of your skyrim directory ever again.
