[MOD]Lightning's Armor from FFXIII-2

Update: fixed the problem with not displaying arms in first person view. Download link updated.

 

So I finished this project starting yesterday, rigged the obj file into Skyrim to make this mod. Thanks velinejoseph who posted the link to the obj file.

There's Lightning's armor, gloves and boots. The body shape is based on a slim version of CBBE, so you might get weird texture problem if you are using some other body mod. I also included a skimpy version of the armor which shows more skin (but no nude).

The armor set can be forged under Daedric equipments. Or you can search for the code by "help lightning 4"

 

PS. Sorry Velox I was only aware of your effort last night when I'm half done with this mod. Wasn't my intention to claim your project.

 

PPS. If somebody can make a youtube video of this it would be great! I don't have the software for recording in-game videos, so your help will be appreciated!

updated original link, fixed the 1st person invisible arms problem.

 

@dscythegeo, I have no plan yet... probably will keep working on my saber armor for a while before attempting something else... btw arrow & knee team is working on the original lightning armor in FFXIII, so they might have more things in store

well, i kind of... prefer it that way. Yea there's some clipping issues but it's true to the character. Maybe at some point i'll make a shrunk version and see how it turns out. Shouldn't be too difficult.

I'd still like to see a UNP version though, mostly because I hate having to switch over to other bodies just to use these armors (and I still think UNP would of been better with how the armor is designed.)

 

Still excellent work though. I can never show it at the Nexus, but still excellent.

yeah no rush tho, just take ur time. i like the saber armor and yes its true to character. i agree.

so whats the skimpy version like? does it just exclude the front and back waist straps?

how did you fix the gap issue at the back of the neck and the problem with the characters neck being too big(heads to big as well). Im using cbbe slim v3 and it seems like both are too big
