A Simple Question (I hope)

I'm new to this game and finding this site has been a spectacular surprise...but I have a question about downloads. If there is a "patch" with the same version number as the "main" file, do I need the patch, too? As an example, ZaZ downloads lists a Main, Patch, and Texture file all with V0600.7z as the version. There are lots of other mods with similar listings. I'm sorry if my question is dumb, but I can't find an answer in the forums.

ZazAnimationPack_Patch_V0601.7z <- patch not the same version number

 

It really might be a bit unclear, but normaly it should be clear what you need. The main version is allways required and provided patches are installed over the main version since they only consist of the patch, but don't include the base mod.

For this case yes you need to download the textures otherwise you have some purple gags in your game.

 

Also what allways helps if you are unsure about it click on support topic on the mod download page so you get the the description then you can click on search this topic and just type in a short keyword in this case just type in Textures and there is allways someone who asked a question allready so this will most likley lead to succes like in this case

Hi, did you install the Textures-Pack too ? You need both the Main- and Textures-Pack.
