NPC -> NPC Relationships & Sexual Preferences

So I'm fairly new to sexlab mods, but have checked out quite a few, and I'm curious  about a couple mod types I have not found.

 

I've installed Arousal, Attraction and Approach, which all affect NPC -> Player relationship possibilities, and are very cool, but effectively make the player the sole means of release for NPC's, companions being my biggest concern. Lover's Comfort allows NPC's to have sex with each other if their relationship level has been set either by default in the game, or via console, but they will only have sex if they are sleeping in the same bed.

 

I have not tried it yet (not exactly fond of the idea), but I read that Lover's Victim allows NPC's to rape each other (or the player)... which is not what I'm hoping for, but it's related.

 

I'm hoping to find some kind of system that can enable NPC's to engage each other based on Attraction to each other and Arousal, in a manner similar to what Approach does for NPC -> player and/or possibly a way for NPC's to improve their relationship level with each other so they become affected by Lover's Comfort type mods without the player having to set them manually with the console.

On a somewhat related note, I was curious about whether or not a mod existed that influenced the likelihood of certain sex animations playing based on NPC preference. As in, a mod that allows you to increase the chance of a specific NPC being in a "get ass-fucked" animation/role, and a different NPC having a higher chance of the "fucking her tits" animations, and another NPC wanting to suck more dick, etc.

 

I suppose that kind of thing would be pretty complicated, as it would not only need to have each animation tagged in various ways (gender roles, dom/sub roles, body parts involved, etc.) and use some RNG to choose an animation, but enable customization of each NPC's preferences with sliders for like... %chance for give/receive/both role, % Desire to fuck breasts/ass/pussy/mouth, and probably influence arousal gain/loss on conclusion of sex comparing their preferences to the actual type of sex act that happened. Heck... even a slider for how much that should affect arousal. :P Beggars can't be choosers after all. 

 

I guess this is not a particularly necessary mod, but it would give NPC's a bit more personality in the bedroom.

 

I have no experience programming and no idea how much would be needed for things like this.

Frankly I would LOVE to see some discussion and ideas thrown around this very subject.

 

I rebuild Approach mod to allow for NPC-NPC approaches, but am stuck by the drawing board now looking for ideas how to create a simple yet effective way to make the environment seem alive. For instance, when should NPCs approach others? Who should they approach? What should they say? 

 

Simply approaching anyone attractive asking for sex whenever they are aroused feels somewhat unrealistic.

A little, maybe, but so what? Start there, get something out and let it evolve. The NPC's can start out asking each other or the PC for sex if they're aroused and find the other attractive, and nothing more. Then you can add bells and whistles: arousal * attraction score has to be over X% to ask, Y% to say yes; X and Y change based on whether the NPC is attached to someone else; etc. etc.

Omg please do create an NPC - NPC approach mod. that would essentially complete the last missing thing (i feel) that is needed to make sexlab an immersive mod and not just a porn mod.

 

I always thought some of the factors that could be considered are

 

relationship rank (by the way side note do check out http://www.loverslab.com/topic/38717-apps-framework/they are creating a relationship module which might be useful to you)

 

morality ( to determine whether npc are up for open public sex and how frisky/easy they are, additionally if we can extend sexcrime http://www.loverslab.com/topic/33768-sexcrime/?hl=crime toimprison caught npcs for a day or two that would add to the immersion even further)

aggression  (to determine npc -> npc rape chance)

level (to determine Npc -> npc rape chance)

 

Detection of surrounding (NPCs less likely to start sex with people around) - one way to get around this in towns and cities might to be add position markers the npcs would move to to begin engaging in sex. This will probably need to be placed manually but im sure people will be able to chip in and provide a list of possible secluded areas

Detection of beds (perhaps after npc proposition to another npc they will move to the closest owned bed which can be their own house or an inn)

Time ( night time more sex basically)

 

and most importantly and mcm toggle for a map marker to detect any possible sex act that is occuring or about to occur (after npc has succesfully propose to another one and they are moving to a secluded spot) (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58450/? might be a good place to learn how to do that)

 

sorry for the tl:dr. just so excited about the prospects that this mod might actually have this are just suggestions no pressure. hope you take up the project ylenard! Im really enjoying approach and would love to see it developed even more

That map marker mod is awesome. Hey, post the suggestion about a "where's the sex?" marker to the sexlab requests thread... I did, but I've seen the request a couple of times in other threads since. If they see more enthusiasm for it, they're more likely to prioritize it. That way it would be available to all mods.

I agree with both of you, if you could get approach working for NPC -> NPC just to start, that would be a big step in the right direction. I added the second thing about sexual preferences in the opening post as a means of finding a bit more realism, though upon further consideration, what I proposed seems like a pretty complex system.

 

At some point sacrifices will have to be made to keep the game running smoothly... if it ends up having to cross-check dozens of NPC's arousal, attraction and the proposed sexual preferences/openness in the vicinity of the player, I'm not sure how much of a strain that would put on the game. 

 

 

luffyboy's suggestions are great as well, although I'm not so sure if level should really be considered. It makes sense regarding bandits and stuff, but I'd think the aggression & morality should be able to determine a person's chance to rape someone. Is there a mod already that works with "morality" for NPC's?

Hmm... Lover's Comfort has the capacity for a spouse to start to seek out a lover whenever their arousal exceeds 50 (It does seemed that brawling the lover is a bit bugged).  Maybe combining the mechanics used in attraction and approach with a 50 arousal threshold seems like a good way to start?

 

NPCs arousal is over 50 > Scans local cells for NPCs > Calculates real attractiveness between aroused NPC and NPCs in the local cell, creating a ranking of all NPCs with a score over 50. The highest scoring NPC is approached > If approached NPC's attraction + arousal exceeds say... 100, then they have a sexual encounter.  If rejected, the aroused NPC looks at the next NPC in the local cell.

 

Maybe save the fact two NPCs had an encounter and use it to direct them to each other in the future?

 

There's a lot that could be done with something like this, and I'm a bit disappointed we haven't seen it yet.
