Just found out that Wayne Static of Static-X just died from an apparent drug overdose, but they are still investigating

This just sucks.  I grew up listening to this band through high school and college.

aww man same here i grew my hair to try and spike it up like his. Machine was the first cd I bought well i know what im listening to for the next while. RIP dude

Holy shit, no way! I too grew up with them, still got a poster of them on my wall, so that's a pretty major bummer. I'll have to listen to A Dios Alma Perdida a few times tonight in his honor.

Just an update:  Wayne did not die from a drug overdose as some had thought, but rather in his sleep.  He's been clean since 2009.
