help with asis

so i'm thinking of using this mod, mostly because i want to see something different and to offset some of the more naughty mods i've got installed.  but i have a few questions before i start.

 

first, can i get any tips on what mods i need to put on the exclusion list for the patcher?  i cant find a unified list anywhere and even then i doubt it would mention many of the mods i've seen here, so i'm hoping someone has some suggestions.

 

second, has anyone used the ai modification portion of the mod?  i've seen it suggested not to use it and to use others, but most of the others i've tried haven't worked well for my game so i'm just wondering if anyone has any opinions on it.
