hey guys, I'm looking for a uunp conversion of dint's dark knight puff mini. found one but that makes my game crash when I equip the skirt or shoes. Thanks in advance.

cause has no esp, its only bodyslide shape data, i allways install manually every mod. but thats not recomended :/

Anyone willing to convert MBO 0018? All of Team TALs most recent armor mods could use a conversion, but I really like this one. Going to attempt to convert on my own, but am not to hopeful.

yep, when you have a uunp conversion  of an outfit you always have to install the original version first, since the conversion  mostly only contains the bodyslide files.

but when i install the uunp conversion it says no game data on top level and then it says mod was probably not installed properly, check file tree etc. Should I just ignore this problem? Because usually when i get this problem i have to drag the esp and meshes into the data folder. but because its just bodyslide files there is nothing to drag.

The reason you have no game data displaying because you didn't install the mod that the conversion requires. This link https://gavitex.com/share/a2qyt5vu3 that was given to you leads to Gavitex file that has the original mod (esp, meshes and textures) that you need. Delete the bodyslide files from the original mod because they are CBBE and then install the UUNP bodyslide files you already downloaded.

And then throw the contents into the original mod? Thank you btw, Ik some things about modding but i really wish there was some sort of manual or guide with every detail on what to know. Cuz some of this is confusing af.

 

Update: I just deleted bodyslide files and replaced them with uunp bodyslide files. Everything in my filetree is telling me that there is no trace of cbbe yet somehow, when i start up my game its still in cbbe. I literally have the unnp files in the original file yet somehow it doesn't work. Ive tried all ways of deleting any trace of cbbe yet nothing.

you have to build the outfit in bodyslide.
open bodyslide and outfit studio -> pick the outfit (top right - filter outfit - type in the outfits name.. "night" for example) -> in the preset section select the uunp bodyslide you use -> click the box [ ] build morphs and batch build

you always have to build the outfits in order to use them on a custom body, otherways they just look like the cbbe or whatever is the default version

Wow this helped a lot thanks. I didn't know about this, everything seemed to convert nicely except for the gloves.

Are you using Mod Organizer? The "no game data on top level" warning is because some Bodyslide conversions only have the CalienteTools folder, which MO doesn't recognize since it's not a folder present in the default Skyrim data folder structure. You can ignore it, as long as the folder on the top level is CalienteTools. It's one situation in which MO doesn't know what it's talking about, and the user knows best.

Alternatively you can simply extract the Bodyslide stuff elsewhere, and paste it into the mod directory for the original (From MO, you right-click the mod, select Open In Explorer, and just paste the CalienteTools folder in the same folder that has meshes/textures/etc).

Yes I'm using mod organizer, originally i had already tried pasting the info into the folder but it did no good, still was cbbe in-game. But creating the new outfit in bodyslide studio seemed to work, although its not the cleanest looking conversion. Maybe i need to fool around with the sliders as well when making the armor. But i've no experience with it since today was my first time even using it.
