New Vegas armor conversions, through 3DS Max 2014

Okay, so I managed to do pretty much everything with 3DS Max to make a conversion from Vanilla to Roberts, I'm stuck however in the part where I have to add the BS Dismember skinning. I am guessing this is when someone gets shot and their limbs get torn apart. The tutorial for skyrim had almost everything except this, which is where new vegas and skyrim start being different. 

 

Can anyone offer any help on how to do this? I tried to find a tutorial but there's almost nothing on this. 

 

Here's everything I've done: 

 

1. Imported the Robert's body

2. Imported the armor, deleted the old body's meshes and limb caps

3. Fitted the armor to Robert's 

4. Deleted the caps for that body, since they don't fit anyway, or that's what that tutorial said I should do. 

 

And after that I'm stuck. No clue what to do next, but I'm assuming it's not all that difficult.
