Big SKSE Problem, but no errors in logs ..

Ok I've got a serious problem here with the latest RaceMenu .. It's not showing up. All I get is the Vanilla Menu with "$EXTRA" and "$EXPRESSION" added in the top bar. Did a fresh clean install of Skyrim and so far only SKSE, LOOT, SkyUI, RaceMenu and RealVision ENB are added to the mix ..

SKSE log files show no errors/exceptions/failures.

Plz help. :/

Check Data/Interface/translations/RaceMenu_YourLanguage.txt. If your language is not listed, copy the RaceMenu_ENGLISH.txt and rename it to fit to your language, RaceMenu_CHINESE.txt for example.

There is no folder named "translations" in Data/Interface .. There is no "Interface" folder in the 2.9.5 7zip archive of RaceMenu either!? Only RaceMenu.esp, RaceMenu.bsa, RaceMenuPlugin.esp and a "SKSE" folder with 2 plugins.

And although I'm german, I'm playing most games in english. ;)

Uhh yeah I forgot that it is packaged in a bsa. You could extract the content of the bsa with BSAOpt and then looking for it. Although RaceMenu itself should cover every language. For RaceMenuPlugin there is only the english version so you would need to copy it and rename it to RaceMenuPlugin_GERMAN.txt.

When you start your save, do you get a message saying SKSE isn't installed? (this would be SkyUI complaining)

What does your script logs say?(default):

%userprofile%\Documents\My Games\skyrim\Logs\Script

I dont use mod managers, havent used them since I started using mods back in 2011. So if not something changed dramaticly from my 80GB last years Skyrim installation ...

My current loadorder.txt:

Skyrim.esm

Update.esm

Dawnguard.esm

HearthFires.esm

Dragonborn.esm

HighResTexturePack01.esp

HighResTexturePack02.esp

HighResTexturePack03.esp

SkyUI.esp

What's really really frustrating is: there are no errors anywhere in any logs, neither papyrus.logs nor skse.logs nor on screen .. The "My Games\Skyrim\Logs" folder stays empty, even with enabling:

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

As I'm writing this post .. Why does it only list 2 .esm in skse.log? Shouldnt it list dragonborn.esm, dawnguard.esm and hearthfires.esm too?

All my fault ..

"launching the Skyrim launcher at least once" after a fresh/clean install is mandatory. I did indeed mess up one mod installation 2 days ago and wiped every bit of Skyrim of my SSD/HDD including "%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\Skyrim" .. And simply forgot to launch that thing again.

Problem solved. Now going to install that 60GB of mods ..

Ah! Yes, I can't understand why the SKSE launcher doesn't pick up the mods as the "Vanilla" launcher does. *shakes head*

Good luck and may your sanity be with you, always!
