How do you place an object in the world through script?

The most scripting I've done was mostly novice GECK scripting, and Papyrus is quite different. I'm making a conjuration spell that'll place an activator in the world. It'll summon at the spot on the ground where the conjuration ball hits. I know I will need to do a "target location" kind of thing. But I'm not sure how to go about putting the object into the world. And after placing the object I would like to be able to have another spell remove the placed activators when shooting a conjuration ball at the activator that was summoned prior. Sorry if this seems unclear, but any tips would be appreciated.
