3D Studio Max Skin Symmetry, why doesn't it work?

For some reason I cannot get the skin symmetry mirror mode function to work properly on the femalebody_0.nif


The vertex weights on the other side always get weighted to the bone which already has the skin weight data.


Does anyone know of a Skyrim video tutorial that shows someone actually using the skin modifier in symmetry mirror mode and making it work? Copying skin weights from one side of the femalebody_0.nif body to the other side?
