How to make followers wear clothes permanently?

Hi, loverslab community!

 

I'm new to modding and was wondering if there's a way to make your custom downloaded followers wear whatever clothes you want, permanently?

 

I tried replacing some followers I've downloaded with better armor, but they always revert back to using their original clothing when I send them back home (which is the bathe house)

 

...I then tried pick pocketing all their default clothing and leaving them with nothing but the clothes I gave; but they still keep spawning their original clothes if I leave the zone.

 

Is there a mod that makes custom followers wear whatever clothes they have equipped permanently? Thanks!

Extensive Follower Framework, Ultimate Follower Overhaul, or Amazing Follower Tweaks... if these don't solve your followers unequiping their armor then maybe you should just let them be naked haha

You can always use the ---> Equipitem XXXXXXXX 1

 

Just find the formID by using -> help "Name of item"

Note with the quotation marks you can search for names with two words like "Leather Armor"

 

The 1 at the end of the equip command means that the item can not be removed without another special command. Some mods might do that, but this works for me without needing a mod.
