How to port Oblivion monster models to New Vegas

I was recently browsing the obllvion mods when i came across a mod which adds a buch of monster from other games, i asked the maker if i could port the mod to FONV they agreed, they also agreed to help me with porting to models over unfortanly we have hit a dead end and are stuck, any tips or tricks would be appracated
