Memory Allocation Fix: Is SKSE version implemented same as SSME?

I used to use SSME for the memory allocation fix without issue. When it was also added to SKSE, I stopped using SSME and used SKSE's (after enabling it in the ini file).


However, I have noticed my game will occasionally freeze since the switchover. When I check the memory block logs, it also tends to coincide with when block 1 goes over 256 MB.


This makes me wonder if SKSE really has the same implementation. Anyone that is familiar with its implementation that can comment?
