JUSSME Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 Does anyone know? Why do we have skimpy armor sets with hdt but we don't even have vanilla armor sets with hdt with bodyslide?
Keyboard Warrior Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Does anyone know? Why do we have skimpy armor sets with hdt but we don't even have vanilla armor sets with hdt with bodyslide? Because skyrim modders. I, for one, would kill to see all vanilla armors HDTized, IE robes and such, but it's just not gonna happen anytime soon, I think. As far as I know, no mod has been done doing that yet. I'm sorry v-v I want something like this just as bad as you, but everyone is so concerned with boobs n' shit atm.
dweezer Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 As much as I want this, I know that the vanilla meshes were designed primarily for consoles first, and thus suffer in lack of polygons in order to fit the memory requirements of those systems. Given my preferences for bodytypes, I can live without conical chests of doom when it comes to armors. I rather someone create higher poly versions of the vanilla stuff stuff, then bodyslide that with HDT and whatnot. Here's a couple of options on Nexus: OCR http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49286/? and Bodyslide Add-ons Vanilla http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49678/?. OCR is higher poly, but does clothes only at this point. Both look to be TBBP/BBP only right now, so one will need to convert the weights prior to building outfits. The author for the second has commented that there will be a CITRUS version when that goes official, so I guess it's only a matter of time to have HDT Vanilla.
