bleeargh Posted September 18, 2014 Posted September 18, 2014 I just converted the black widow armor from Alan's CBBE BBP Armor Pack to the CBBEv3 body. It works great in game. Here's a pic: So, I'm okay at mesh modification, but I'm clueless when it comes to texture modification. I'm not of fan of all the red that's in this outfit. On the leg covers I think a transparency and a black color would fit the outfit better. Sort of like the legs in the Sword Dancer Armor from Oblivion: http://static-4.nexusmods.com/15/mods/101/images/31307-1-1272068107.jpg Maybe with just a little more transparency than Sword Dancer, but you get the idea. Also the red triangles above the pubic area would look really sexy if they had the same mesh textures like the leggings that Viconia is wearing in my original pic within the spoiler. Viconia's leggings are from Gatti's Yumiko Suits: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/19257/? Does anyone feel like taking on this little endeavor? Or could someone point me to a tutorial in Gimp on how to make these changes? Here's a link to my modified meshes as well as the original textures. https://www.dropbox.com/s/frntflux8up13nn/Black%20Widow.zip?dl=0
bleeargh Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Figured out the leggings. Anyone know how to get two transparent objects to stop intermittently flashing in and out of view. Notice you can see the leggings underneath in the front view, but not the side view. probably a setting within nifskope......? One other question if anyone knows. If you download the nifs from my original link. Is anyone else not able to see the textures in nifskope? I've got my support paths set up correctly in nifskope. I've been modding for years and haven't ever had a problem viewing the textures in nifskope. It's just this particular nif too. All others work just fine. Now I just need to figure out how to do the two triangles over the pubic area. It would be a lot easier if I could see the textures, though. Then it would be a simple modification of the texture map.....
bleeargh Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 Okay, so I couldn't figure out how to get the triangles over the pubic area to be a fishnet texture in gimp. Argh, layers and alpha masking and such. So I just nixed the triangles of fabric altogether and added some pubes. I'm going to call this done and good.
