Oblivion Mods?

I went back to Obivion and had some issues with my mods I've decided to remove them all and go at it again now that I know far more about modding. Are there any immersion mods or so forth that anyone can recommend?

 

I will get the lovers PK, and body replacers and so on. But here is what I have already though some of it I'm sure there are things that are better out there.

 

The OCC I think is what it is called. character overhaul is not to great and it attempts to replace the body replacers and makes much of the races hideous to look at.

http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23-quick-installation-guide/ Might want to take a look at the sample load order as many things are out of whack in your load order like LoversIdleAnimsPriority.esp and LoversAnimObjectsPriority.esp for example are both suppose to be at the bottom of your load order. Lovers mods first set body mod if you have it MBP next then anything else like armors and stuff go next unless a mod states where it needs to be.

Ah that was LOOT that messed up the load order. I'm just asking for mods from the people here on LL since anywhere else and people might berate me for having adult mods.

 

Ah but I am lacking some sounds like when standing still and drawing a weapon. no sound plays.

Oh I read that before anything else, I took the basics listed there, now I'm just hoping to find other mods, oh that and I'm about to clean up the dlcs I appreciate your guide there it was useful for getting started. Bt again I am looking for more mods that others can recommend. Immersion like or roleplaying friendly. Stuff like that.

I like Unique Landscapes (but you need patches for many Mods)

Quest Mods: The Lost Spires, TheForgottenRealm

Quest an new Landscape: ElsweyrAnequina, DibellasWatch, Orden des Drachen(Order of the Dragon; german voice files with english subtitles. I do not know how good the translation is, I am german. The german Version is great, best Mod I ever played, much longer than the total main Oblivion quest. But hard to play ! almost no quest marker. 5 years after release still updates with new quests)

Yes I sopped using LOOT atfirst it worked then it didn't. So using BOSS Lol

 

I like many things! I suppose though I should be specific.

Character Overhauls, (prettier looking textures for bodies, weapons, landscapes)

The worst part of oblivion is that  never level past 15 so that no guards get destroyed by random bandits and ogres that appeared from nowhere, something to change that so i can hit level 40 or more would be nice.

 

Oh I love quest mods. I will give it a try order of the dragon sounds interesting.

 

and I enjoy owning a castle/town and helping people. enjoy being the good guy ruler so forth.

I just can't find mods guess I lack the english finesse to search for hidden treasures :[

Guards respawn so Bandits can kill them

Most People want stronger Bandits because you can kill them easy if you are high Level. Max Level Bandits and guards 40-45.

But you are right high Level Bandits are stronger than guards, Bandits have Daedric and Glass armor and Guards have still the same armor.

Here is a Mod ( I have not tried it) that reduce/delete the deadric and other "Power armor" for Bandits, and also change the creatures ( streets more save, wilderness dangerous) Sonds nice http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/45534/

But there are so many Overhauls, so that one loses track.

 

And Body textures .....matter of taste. And high Resolution textures (4096x4096) completely exaggerated. With the old Oblivion you can not see a difference between 2048 and 4096 ( you can only get a FPS drop)

Exactly really I do't like bandits winning against guards. 

To bad you can't just put oblivion into the skyrim engine q-q that'd make it fun.

 

well beautifying the textures and making it not so... mega bright is something I try to do. But I dunno how to do ENB for oblivion. are there any presets here? I hate it when everything is bright and shiny and glaring in my face.

 

I rn at 120+ fps with oblivion in the most intense areas. seems mod conflicts like to crash me sometimes. but I'm working on getting a good order.

 

Ah you know there is something that i can never find but always see around. Elf ears that are long and out to the side. I really want a fantasy style for elves, pointed long ears out to the side.

You can find many enb presets on the Nexus. I don't recall seeing any hosted here.

The elf ears you're searching for could be Lop Elf Ears. Throw a search on the nexus and see if they're the ones you want.

ah thank you this fixes my super bright glaring issue.

now my camera is 6 feet higher than my actual character now though. ah the issues with oblivion.

 

and with the enb it now distorts splotches at random for a few seconds.

... I'm not sure how the hell you managed to mess up your camera by installing an enb mod or alternate ear mesh. Seriously, if you want help, you have to tell me what you downloaded, and where you downloaded it from.

it's a skeleton issue. i have the lapf skeleton. but should i downgrade dr6 to dr5?

Neither of these issues should be related to your load order. ENB is completely independant of any esps you may have installed.

 

As for the camera I had the same issue not long ago, but I am not too sure of the culprit. I THINK it was one of the updated LAPF skeletons what caused this.

Supierce has been working on a LAPF Updated Skeleton. You may want to try that.

The skeleton issue comes from deadly reflex. Its like it stacks its skeleton ontop of the others.
