I installed it all correctly, but when it comes to a second weapon it goes on my side rather than my back and when putting a weapon away the offhand weapon teleports from existence. Now I've run fnis with the left arm skeleton patch. done the dsr patcher. and I have the xp32 skeleton installed over immersive animations. or vice versa I had issues getting it to work at all or draw a weapon and haven't touched it since i got it to draw at least one weapon from my back.

On XP32 Maximum Skeleton Extended, did you select the option to have weapons on the back? The weapons on back is part of the skeleton, not DSR. When you're installing it, via a mod manager, there is several options for weapon placement. Make sure to select the one-handed weapons on back.

As for the weapon disappearing, it could be an unrecognized weapon you are trying to use with DSR. Did you get the patch for the modded weapon you're using (if you're using a modded weapon)? In the optionals, there is patches for all kinds of different weapon mods. You have to download those patches to get them to work with DSR. If there isn't a patch for the specific weapon you're using, you can create one yourself (there is a guide on the DSR page), or otherwise, it won't work with DSR.

As well, I don't know if you're using LOOT or BOSS, but with BOSS, you need to add any unrecognized mods to your userlist so DSR will patch them. So if you're trying to use a weapon that is unrecognized, DSR won't patch it into it's SkyProc patcher. It has to be in your recognized list of mods.

This is all just basic questions though. Since you didn't post a load order or give any of this info, it's kind of hard to guess at what might be the cause of your issue.
