esmm40 Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Hey guys Im trying to make a nevernude body mesh to go along with my remake of the Meng Armor. So far so good but Im running into issues with the texture of the top. Its based off of an underwear from Vindictus but I am making a texture to match the bottoms of the Meng Armor. If you look at the WIP pic on the link you'll see there is shader Artifacting and the texture doesnt line up right either. If anyone has any ideas Id love to hear them. I hope to tackle this later today and get it uploaded. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8676
Ryanhabs Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 The weird black blocky things happened to me a while back but it was something to do with the output option I chose for a few hi resolution textures I was trying to make. I was setting the nvidia dds output to like 32.32.32.32 rgb and it came out something like your pics. When I re-did them and put it to 16.16.16.16 rgb it seemed to work. Dont know if that helps but its worth a shot.
esmm40 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 Well so far I've only been able to make the texture line up better and work a little more detail into the edges. In the mean time I tried using a different mesh from another vindictus armor set and it worked fine. I was even able to make the textures from scratch and there were no problems. Still not sure what it could be. heres the mod also http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8676
esmm40 Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 So turns out it was a hand texture that was somehow interfering. With a different Hand texture it worked fine. Still not sure why it was was causing so much trouble, but Meh, it looks good now. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/imageshare/image.php?id=42238
