blank. Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Hi I just stumbled upon this forum recently and thought i'd try to contribute a bit. I've been wanting to modify the way the in game characters run but I have no idea where to start. Anyone here have any advice or pointers to get me going the right direction? Thanks
Tossie Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 The only experience I have with animation is making a ball bounce in Maya so I'm not the best person to get advice from, but I believe it'd be best to download Blender and play around with it until you get something you like. As for putting into Skyrim, this should tell you what to do. http://cs.elderscrolls.com/index.php/Importing_Animations_from_Blender At least it will if Skyrim's Creation Kit does animations the same way as Oblivion's.

Ryanhabs Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Unless someone has found out more information on the havok anims and how they are handled, you will have to replace the existing anims for said ingame actions (make a back up of the files). As far as I have read up til today, there are some "missing" areas for making custom anims and inserting them in to skyrim without modifying or completely replacing the existing ones. Theres more info on this in the skyrim technical support thread.
