PhilMc2 Posted September 27, 2014 Posted September 27, 2014 ...for making the game more serious and believable! I hate Bethesdas childish game elements like for example fighting big meany mudcrabs in Skyrim and cute colourful geckos plus giant ants in Fallout NV...I am 30 years old and I want some serious and appealing content...and therefor sex is one perfect element ^^
Dingaling22 Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 I don't think that having mudcrabs is childish by any means, I don't know if you have interacted with crayfish,(Or especially Blue Crabs) especially wild ones, but if you smell like food they will try to eat you, despite the huge size difference, and if your actually dumb enough to let them bite you, you will find their biting hurts just as much as getting pinched does. Furthermore crayfish and crabs can be active predators taking down fish and other animals nearly their same size, so I do believe this is rather realistic on bethesda's part.
JUSSME Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 For immersion / realism but also fun. I don't use other mods like beastiality mod. I use sexlab submit, defeat and now Sexlab slavery PAH extension. Also sexlab hormones but thats because realistic needs and disease is script heavy and makes me CTD. So i use ineeds instead RND +Sexlab patch. Sexlab attraction, romance and aroused also. Sexlab Std's looks cool but its still buggy. I didn't really want devious devices but its been made a requirement now so I have to use it :/ but on a bright side I guess the display mod is pretty cool. Also use prison overhual mod. Although I think they could have varried the public punishments alittle more. They only seem to whip you in jail and rape you outside. I also used TDF prostitution. The hentai pregnancy + soulgem children looks cool but the children cannot be killed so I don't bother with it. If they can't be killed having the children follower is kind of point less to me. They take up extra space and you don't have to really care for them. Although I thought it would have been interesting to have a child using that mod and than enslave it with the PAH mod to sell the child. I havn't tried it though. Also sanguines debachery is cool in the concept that you can be enslaved also. death alternative captured is also cool, not a sexlab mod though Alot of modders here do very impressive stuff. Although my favorite sexlab mods are the Paradise halls extension for sexlab, Submit (for the bounty rewards for enemy civil war npcs submitted), and defeat. and HDT physics mod (and related armors)

Okay than mudcrabs in Skyrim are realistic, fine....but for me fighting realistic mudcrabs does not make the game more serious and believable from point of overall feeling. Imo a weak female player character arrested in a cell with a silent gazing npc guy feels way more intense...(especially when mods like SexLab & Co. CAN turn this situation into something really bad if you are not careful enough). ...this is what I find thrilling...not fishies
Abinath Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 100% realism. Most of the mods I use are for realism. I think its ridiculous that someone can run around fighting in a civil war, killing all manner of monster, using magic and not need to eat, sleep, drink or have sex/ at least masturbate. I suppose the people of Nirn could reproduce A-sexually lmao but that seems more unrealistic then the idea that dragons and magic evolved along side humanoids lol.
enkephalin07 Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I said 'Other'. I started using it for verisimilitude with a touch of titillation, but now if I ever get frustrated enough with the fragile frameworks to uninstall it, the thing that really prevents me is the SD+ mods. Isn't Sanguine the ultimate Deus Sex Machina? He manages to justify sex in any situation, integrating it into plot and gameplay. I can't put it away; I really have to see what's going to happen next.
DonTheDonborg Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 I kinda use SexLab for all of the above. I think that a bandit gang full of ruthless bandits raping women (like Sapphire's story in Vanilla I believe), sex being offered in place of payment and most importantly sexual relations between characters all belong to reality (even the bad ones). Ok bestiality with wolves and human females or any other animal with a female player seem ridiculous, lol. But still immersive. Along with needs - hunger, thirst, sleep, warmth - desire stands realistic as well as part of "fun time". The only things I am not aware of if they exist in the modding community would be crapping and peeing. With them I presume that the character would be so realistic it would hurt. xD But still I'd play! Is that weird?
nutluck Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 I picked realism because it was the closest answer. I use the mods here for two reasons. 1) Immersion - when not testing I turn animals off for mods like defeat cause animals have no ability to strip a person. Creatures like trolls that could do it I leave on. Also in such a world rape would be fairly common result to females that where captured or defeated in combat and not killed. 2) consequences - In vanilla game if you get into a fight and die, you just restart from the last save with no ill effect other than having to refight some of the same creatures. A lot of mods here add ones, such as combat ones like defeat and submit. Or ones dealing with addiction. Same goes for mods like Death Alternative for the same reason. I would have picked fun as well because I think it makes the game more fun. But there was no option to just pick those two.
BigOnes69 Posted October 5, 2014 Posted October 5, 2014 Escapism and to exercise imagination. Role playing going back to the original D and D in the seventies. Sex was always a part of the culture.
