Rokabur Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Change to Mod Organizer. Mods are installed virtually so they don't clog up your Data folder. Mods can even be 'installed' on another drive to save space.

Budroi Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 but i can import my old mod configuration from nexus? i didnt try mod organizer yet yes there is a button in MO at the top. looks like 4 jigsaw puzzle pieces. click that, then NMM import.
Guest corespore Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I would make a backup of your mods and try re-installing NMM from scratch. Usually NMM keeps a copy of every mod in your mods list in (drive letter-usually C:)Games\Skyrim\Mods, or (Drive Letter)\Games\Nexus Mod Manager\Skyrim\Mods depending on which version of NMM your running. Before you attempt to remove NMM make sure to de-activate all active mods and make a screenshot of your active mods list so you can install the same ones again. To properly remove NMM for a fresh install goto C:(or whatever drive it is installed on)\Games\Nexus Mod Manger and look for the un-install option. Your issue looks like NMM thinks your running am illegal copy or one that is not in the correct file-path, both of which is only going to keep giving you problems. It is most likely going to take much longer to find the issue and fix it then it is to just redo the install of NMM and go from there.
