Importing a custom followers face into a character save for ECE?

Basically i want to take the face of a follower i found online and put it into a save slot in the ECE presets. Thing is i have no idea what to do to accomplish that. My google-fu is terrible so when i tried to look there i only found random topics that dont really match what im looking for.

 

I did try to copy the method of using the CK and copy a NPC character into a vanilla games presets. But when i tried that with a custom follower it crashed the game everytime even after following the directions several times. So i think there is a conflict there.

 

So i decided to ask directly to see if i could get an answer.
