SKSE and Papyrus refusing to write logs

So lately i have been experiencing some seriously weird crashes when opening menus and/or weird freezing out of nowhere.

came to the conclusion that SafetyLoad was responsible for the menu crashing, so i changed the .ini to only work on Loading Screens.

Although that didn't fix the issues, neither disabling SafetyLoad.

So i decided to make SKSE write a Minidump and make Papyrus write Logs, so that i could take a look and either determine myself what the issue was or get help doing it.

Though SKSE nor Papyrus write any logs at all. It just simply doesn't work, no logs at all, did a search and looked where they we're supposed to be, but nothing? :(

am i missing something else than:

SKSE.ini:

[Debug]

WriteMiniDumps=1

skyrim.ini:

[Papyrus]

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

bLoadDebugInformation=1

Thanks :)

Check to make sure your Skyrim directory under My Documents/My Games is not set to read only. Might also want to do a chkdsk on your hard drive, that could be a symptom of a failing hard drive.

did a chkdsk.exe (although my harddrive is fairly new), it returned 0 bad sectors, however it also returned a warning about F running in read-only mode. My harddrive is the new Samsung EVO 840 250gb, i have 33,5 gigs left on it (which i would believe is more than enough).

so i checked to make sure that my skyrim directory (My Documents/My games) was no in read-only, and sure enough it wasen't, however i am unable to change it from read-only as whenever i apply, it complies and makes it "not read-only", but when i then reopen the properties, then it has reset itself to "read-only" ?

it's the same with all my folders, they seem to revert to "read-only" for no apparant reason :/

Okay so i recently upon playing some more today, discovered that it is the entire SKSE.ini that isen't working at all.

neither can i get texture resolution to work, making all facial warpaint ugly as hell.

[Display]

iTintTextureResolution=2048

what exactly am i doing wrong here? i am using ModOrganizer and have launched skse (the newest version) through ModOrganizer (as guided by STEP), yet it seems that none of the ini's i have created work at all :(

what am i doing wrong here?
