Does anyone know how to get DEM to work with this mod?

I'm trying to set up a system where I can switch between UNPB and DEM, but with the way that DEM handles its file convention for textures I cant get it to show up properly in game, the TBBP mesh seems to appear okay though.

My guess is that we'll have to wait until XPMS skeleton is compatible.

It should already be compatible if I'm not mistaken DEM doesn't add any non-vanilla bones. The skeleton has just be tweak to reflect "Proper proportions"(Krista). Your real issues with this are going to be the uvw layouts the body is in two separate pieces and each has its own texture. So unless you know how to edit bodychange to apply the correct texture for the second piece you're out of luck. As for the head I don't think you can use it as you will get garbled garbage when the game attempts to use non-dem tri files. Not to mention the fact the body comes with the neck attached which is going to cause clipping and miss-alignment  with vanilla heads. So if you really want the DEM body and proportions you will need to use the race or fire up the 3d editing program of your choice.

^ This is exactly it.

I've already tried using LadyBody with BodyChange and ran into the exact issues that Arngrim11 describes. Since LadyBody has a torso and leg mesh to make up it's body, it requires more textures than BodyChange reads. I've tried numerous things but could never get the leg textures to display properly. And also your vanilla head will cause clipping with LadyBody due to the neck that is attached to LadBody. I'm guessing the only way around these issues would be to modify BodyChange itself and or modify LadyBody to mimic the standard that the rest of the body replacers use.

Sidenote, it'd be nice if Krista would just release a vanilla compatible version for standard use, and she could just make her "race" mod specific to her own tastes as she is currently doing. I've actually been trying to teach myself how to fix LadyBody to be compatible with Vanilla head but i'm a complete noob and it's fairly arduous for me atm. Then there's the issue with the torso/leg body combo., i'm also trying to teach myself how to combine the two into one so it will be like the other bodies floating around. But I know after achieving that, then there will be issues with the textures not matching up. LOL I wish I knew how to do all this shit, or had a helping hand.

I am mainly only trying to do any of this for learning purposes. I am not trying to gain anything from it other than knowledge of how the programs work, so that maybe in the future I can make my own body mesh.

TBH it would be easier and more compatible for you to convert another vanilla compatible body to the DEM shape. This would make it so you don't need to fix both textures/uv mapping depending on which you wanna work with and the mesh shape. The C.I.T.R.U.S body would be the prime candidate seeing as it had the highest poly count allowing you to get the closest shape and it uses the unp uv mapping allowing you to use your fav textures without editing. The down side is you lose the fake high poly detail provided by the DEM normal map unless you recreate them using a sculpting program and bake new ones for the new uv layout. On a sided note one of the reasons this hasn't been done by some of the more skilled people here on the lab is I guess one could call the modders code of conduct.

Oh and if you guys really want to use the DEM body with the vanilla head without all the work talk to http://www.loverslab.com/user/18068-yatol/ . However be warned this isn't the best method for doing this as it causes neck seam issues that have to be hidden which is why his/her character always has a collar of some type on. It also mismatches the face/body skin tones unless you edit the textures. But imho this defeats the purpose you would be better off using one of the many vanilla compatible bodies that exist.
