TheTeaWizard Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Hey Guys, Does anyone know of any high quality red eye textures that I can use for my character, Or a way I can use Better Vampire Eyes and Fangs, Eyes when I'm not a vampire, so that I select them or something whilst in race menu? Any help would be appreciated! Cheers
XJ347 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 This is something you can easily do yourself with the creation kit. I will write a short guide momentarily. I will do it myself to make sure I get all the steps right.
XJ347 Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 a way I can use Better Vampire Eyes and Fangs, Eyes when I'm not a vampire, so that I select them or something whilst in race menu? Hopefully you use MO, but if you don't I recommend it! OK tutorial! Have Better Vampire Eyes and Fangs installed Open the creation kit (through MO if you use MO) Go to File ---> Data Select Skyrim.esm and hit OK Their will some warnings, hit ignore all, will have to do that a few times. Once the loading is done, Find the Object window (it should be the large box on the left) In the Filter text input section at the top of the Object Window, type EYES Under the filter is a listing of the categories of the games assets, scroll to the bottom and hit *ALL Assuming this is for a female. Find --> FemaleEyesHumanVampire Right click and hit DUPLICATE. Now you have FemaleEyesHumanVampireDUPLICATE001 Double left click FemaleEyesHumanVampireDUPLICATE001 In the new opened box, on the top right is Valid Races, select HeadPartsHuman If you want, change the Name or ID, but that isn't required Hit save (you may need to close new eyes box you created) Name your plugin, like "Vampire Eyes for humans" Activate your plugin with MO, or NMM or whatever you use. That is it! You should be able to select vampire eyes as a Nord, Brenton, Imperial and Redguard. If you want it for a non human race just change HeadPartsHuman to HeadPartsHighElf for High Elves. Each race should have one. Note this directs it to using vampire eyes, you still need Better Vampire Eyes and Fangs installed to have better looking vampire eyes. If you REALLY don't want to do these steps I can send you the mod, but I suggest you do it yourself!
