Keilkravec Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Surely I'm not the only crazy Archer out there who loves having some crazy looking but functional bows, so here is my request for some crazy stuff! Personally, I am pretty partial to the style and look of the nightingale bow, just has an overall nice, woodsy design to it. What I would really like, is maybe the Medieval-Compound bow used by Iorveth from the Witcher 2, or something a wood elf would have passed down as a family weapon, or something they put together from scraps, something unique. My only itch currently is for a legit Longbow, something actually big, such as an up-scaled nightingale bow, not too ridiculous, but just larger than usual. Anyone good at this sorta thing?
Kraxon Posted February 8, 2012 Posted February 8, 2012 Something like the "dagger pack" or "jaysus swords" but for bows, and maybe craftable would be great. I do miss those chitin-bows from Morrowind, Falmer bows aren't a proper subtitution.
Keilkravec Posted February 8, 2012 Author Posted February 8, 2012 Definitly, thats my one complaint about Tytanis, they added a shitload of new spells and magic and crafting (huge stuff i am aware very time consuming) an weapons galor with some uniques, but they were NO bows..at all..very dissapointing when they arn't that hard to do from what i have been told. Real bummer...as far as the armor part of rangers atleast, one guy on Nexus has a bunch of screens of his WIP's, that include some crazy geared ranger/woodsman armors, as well as some winterized varients. so atleast we have some good armors on the way. the leather set and fur sets are ok, but not really if you just have an elf from the woods type deal..not alot out there at the moment :/

I don't really like the shape of the elven armor f. e. I wish you could make custom armor at the forges that has the shape of the orc armor f. e. but is made from moonstone ore, and looks greenish. Or making a steel shaped armor out of dwarven metal. But I guess that would be weeks of work for all the variants.

Far as bows are concerned for thread request, Not so far as to Fantasy like tera and all crazy colorful and whatnot, more looking for aged wood style, something old..or something just made recently with warmer color and some iron or steel on it.

[/quote'] yeah I am and to the bows I completely agree hard part though is rigging them up to the bones and adding animations from everything I've heard, its why you mostly see retextured bows instead of unique work
