[REQ] Dual Wield 2-handed weapons - Expansion

Just recently, I came across a mod that supposedly allows you to wield weapons or shields off-hand while also wielding 2-handed weapons. It was kind of a let down to find out that the mod doesn't integrate itself to modded weapons. I wanted put in this request to see if anyone would like to take it up. The original mods are here:

I do have some concerns, though. Dual-wielding doubles physical damage. Damage while dual-wielding greatsword would be significant. This obviously needs to be balanced. I mean, two-handed weapons are heavy hence a reason why they are two-handed. I believe that damage output can be balanced by making attacks and movement slower and a slight delay for blocking.

 

And I have another idea. Is it possibe to assign different animations for weapons? For use with Immersive Weapons and SkyRe mainly. I just hate how a spear is swung like greatsword. Has its normal and power attacks.
