tsanm011 Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I did all of the required steps in Part 3: Preparing an Existing Nif for Blender including: 1. Find the line User Version, double click on the value 12 and change it to 11. 2. Find the line User Version 2, double click on the value 83 and change it to 34. 3. In the Block List find the NiTriShape node and expand it. Right-click on the BSLightingShaderProperty and select Block > Remove Branch for both the body, head, and feet mesh. Both when I import all of them, it seems that the body does not align with both the head and feet mesh. It always shows in the console: pyffi.object_models.xml.enum:ERROR:invalid enum value which I assume is the reason the feet and the body doesn't align properly. Did i do something wrong? Or do i need the skeleton also imported to fix it?
Guest carywinton Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 I am not totally sure but I think the skeleton has to be imported with the mesh, I am still trying to learn this stuff too, so I am paying attention to this topic. Good post!
Droxillyyn Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Use edit mode and try adjusting the positioning of the body by +0.3288 on z axis, and -0.2544 on y axis.
tsanm011 Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Use edit mode and try adjusting the positioning of the body by +0.3288 on z axis, and -0.2544 on y axis. is this a permanent solution? (meaning no extra work when exporting) And why does it happen? How did the mesh location move to there the first place?
Droxillyyn Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 It seems to be something that effects a lot of UNP stuff. I'm not entirely sure why it happens, I just know that this is the solution to it (I didn't figure it out, I was just told about it). The solution should be permanent, exporting should have it in the correct position with no additional adjusting.
