Emprah Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 Hello and good day! I was just wondering if there was a way to disable the breast/butt bounce.
TnTTnT Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 1. Use body/skeleton that not support BBP/TBBP or 2. If you use HDT, delete or rename hdtPhysicsExtensions.dll in SKSE\plugins
Emprah Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 So if I remove that dll for HDT will that break mods that require HDT?
TnTTnT Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 There are 2 HDT mods 1. for Breast/Butt physics has name as hdtPhysicsExtensions.dll 2. for Highheel has name as hdtHighHeelNative.dll You only need to rename the 1st one if you still want to use HDT highheel system.
Emprah Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 I use the Remodeled armor for CBBE which states it requires HDT-PE. I was hoping it was possible to modify the XML or something like that.
TnTTnT Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 The mod require HDT-PE for breast/butt bounce, if you don't have HDT-PE it's just plain armor mod without bouncing.
Emprah Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 But I use the non-BBP pack for it, and the instructions still say that HDT is required. Sorry I'm being hard I just don't want to break my game after actually getting it to work properly.
TnTTnT Posted August 13, 2014 Posted August 13, 2014 You can try to rename the file add .bak at the end of .dll so the game won't use it and see if it's OK. If not, just rename the file back. As I said before, mods that require HDT-PE should not break without it. You should only miss the bouncing that HDT-PE offer and that's all.
Emprah Posted August 13, 2014 Author Posted August 13, 2014 Renaming the DLL did not work. Also tried totally removing HDT, but I get a CTD when equipping some armors, which according to the FAQ for the armor, will happen without HDT.
TnTTnT Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 Normally armor that support BBP/TBBP/HDT will still work without them and should not cause CTD. I also use the remodel armor mod and can turn on/off HDT simply by rename the dll. If you cannot do it simple way, you have to do it hard way by remove your current armor/body mods and replace it with non-HDT/BBP/TBBP version.
Emprah Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 I got it! after a little more research I used the Just for fun application to edit the XML and to change Motion field for breasts and butts to Fixed, which seems to have removed the jiggle.
