Need assistance and suggestions for fresh mod setup

I recently wiped and reinstalled my skyrim folder due to lingering issues with CTDs and scrips, etc, so I'm setting up my mods from the group up. I'm using NMM, Boss, and SKSE, with all of the basic quality-of-life mods like the unofficial patches, SkyUI, etc. However, I have a few questions about the proper setup of adult mods in general.

 

1) What is the best skeleton to use? 

 

2) Other than FNIS and Loverslab, are there any other required mods, or mods that help to have the most animation/texture/mesh options available?

 

3) What is the best/most popular female body replacer? I've used CBBE before, but I see other people reference different body replacers and I don't know what is the most compatible or has the most options available.

 

4) is there a difference between body meshes and a body replacer? 

 

5) Anything I'm missing, or any other recommendations?

Most of the modding I've done has been things that directly address issues or bugs with the game, so I've never had to mess with files that directly change NPCs very often. I apologize if some of these questions are answered elsewhere but I haven't found much of a FAQ-style page for more complicated questions.
