Amazing Follower Tweaks - tweak menu does not apppear

How do I get the follower's tweak menu to appear?

I can see the tweak guide in my inventory, but not the menu on the follower.

You gain 2 new powers for use on custom followers I believe stock followers already have aft running but I only use custom ones usually so dunno. You need to target the follower you want to control with it and cast tweak make follower on him/her you'll likely get warning messages when you do this but most cases its fine what follower(s) are you trying to use aft on?

When you ask someone to be a follower (follow me dialogue) you wait a couple of seconds (can be upwards of a minute) and a notice will pop up saying how many spots you have left on your aft followers. the tweak dialogue won't show up until then. I've found that if trying to add a creature follower first (the spriggan healer and several types of dogs) it sometimes bugs out and never shows up at all even after restarting. Creature followers have a different sort of dialogue, talk once to get them to follow you and then talk again to get a secondary message up, sometimes that works for me. You've got the guide so AFT is active in your game, if you're trying with a creature follower first, try with a humanoid follower and see if that notice doesn't pop up for you. I tend not to use the make follower power because if you use it on the wrong one you'll have quest issues later on.

Make sure it is below any follower mod or mod that adds/alters any npc's in your loadorder. For instance if you want to use AFT to recruit any npc but you also use Vilja or Cerwiden, who both have their own extensive dialogue options and do not want to use AFT on them, place them below AFT and the option will not show in their dialogue menu. Place them above AFT and you can use the AFT options on them.

 

Does it not show up on any npc or follower or jjust not on certain npc's? For some you always first have to cast the AFT spell on them.

I fixed this by moving it to the bottom of the load order, you can place it right above your bash patch, and live another life, so its like 3rd from the bottom, loot says to move it higher but so far it hasnt given me any problems and its working as its intended.
