New Vegas Modding: Where to Start?

I think I understand Skyrim modding pretty well after going at it for the past year. I wanted to give New Vegas a shot though, and I'd like to have a solid mod set up from the start to prevent constant restarts (like I do with Skyrim).

 

Is there any resource you all know of that can help me get a jumpstart? I'm looking for something like www.tesgeneral.com where everything is neatly organized and I can pick and choose the meat of what I want to mod.

 

Any advice would be most appreciated. Thanks!

If you're familiar with the STEP guide to Skyrim, this is the FNV version by EssArrBee. Good collection of tested mods and advice to get you started, for best results use Mod Organizer, you can create a profile for the F&L list of mods then copy it to a new one when you want to try new mods safely.
