luket93 Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Ok so Im having problems with installing and using SkUI, so basically this is how i install the software: Install SKSE 1.70 (putting the dll and exe files in Skyrim Root folder and The script and source folder in Skyrims Data Folder) Install FNISRun FNIS (to update its patches) Install SkyUI Run Skyrim (through Skyrim Launcher) to see if its working. Sometimes it gives me the error code 1 (which is weird since ive installed SKSE 1.70 correctly) or it will work fine, if thats the case i save it to be on the safe side Then i proceed to installing my other mods, like this Install SexLab Frameworks Install SexLabs Defeat Install SexLabs Surrender (i update The FNIS after each additional mod) Then i run Skyrim again and it gives me the SkyUI Error code 1 Did i do anything wrong? I would really appreciate some help or advise P.S. i installed it on a SSD, are SSD's prone to this problem
wildtangent Posted July 17, 2014 Posted July 17, 2014 Correct me if I'm wrong but you are launching Skyrim through the vanilla Skyrim launcher? If so you need to launch Skyrim with SKSE_Loader.exe. That should fix your problem if I'm understanding you right.

Prometeus5879 Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Error code 1 has to do with SKSE (source: https://github.com/schlangster/skyui/wiki/SkyUI-Errors).

judge0 Posted August 1, 2014 Posted August 1, 2014 Did you install SKSE like you would a mod, or manually? SkyUI relies on the SKSE scripts to run, and installing as a mod won't install correctly. See SKSE page for installation instructions.
