I want to switch around some of the vocal sound effects during sex. My female character sounding like she is faking orgasm while being raped is annoying. I'd actually rather her use  the more lowkey male set.

 

What MOD do the sound files come from?

How do I set who uses what sounds? 

How do I setup the file structure?

Or failing all else how can I make my character be silent during sex? (other than turning my speakers off)

Base sound sets come with any of the Lovers installations.

You can use the settings spell "Sexual Exploits (Lovers Settings) -> Sexual Diary -> Set My Voice" to change your voice set, or "Sense Sexual Exploits (Others) -> Set Their Voice" to set an NPCs voice.  You can also set your default voice in the "Data\ini\Lovers with PK.ini" file in LAPF versions 1.5 or later.  You can also add my mod LoversChorus to set voices randomly or via text rules by race.

The existing voices are in Data\Sound\FX\Lovers\ns0-ns19. If a ns## folder is appended by a f/m that voice set only works for the matching sex. Inside each folder are voice sets for normal or raped, further seperated by phase.

You can make your character silent by setting a voice set that doesn't exist (set 8 or higher if you have not added any voice packs).

Make a new ns## folder in Data\Sound\FX\Lovers. Follow the same structure as the rest (normal\1 \4 \5 & rape\1 \4 \5) inside there.  Drop in mono 44kHz .WAV files, their filenames aren't important.
