FIghitng first dragons crashes my game

I use the alternate life mod for different starts, I have played many times, but for some reason all of a sudden when I fight the very first dragon in the main quest like at the watchtower it crashes the game.  Now I don't know if this is a mod issue or not, I don't have any mods that alter the dragons, other than the "Tame the Beasts of Skyrim mod" I have fought other dragons before in the game with both mods installed but all of a sudden it is crashing my game.

 

Any thoughts?
