With ENB (Realvision, Realistic option full)

Without ENB (Default)

I dont really use ENB and I tried out Realvision ENB and Somber3. I think I installed them properly because they worked fine. My problem with somber was that the lighting was a bit wierd and made me dizzy so scrapped that one for the moment. Realvison worked as well but the problem was I think the default setting looked better than the one with ENB (Well the environment was ok but my char looked funny, maybe its just personal preference? IDK....).

So i think the culprit was my Skyrim prefs. Maybe you guys could help me fix it? Or recommend some ENB or setiings which is both "environment and character friendly". (again personal pref).

I disable all the things that the Mod told me to disable if this pref was the one without ENB settings Im sorry xD.

Laptop specs (I'm planning on upgrading the video card to a 780m or 880m and the cpu but that can wait I guess)

i7-3630qm
2 GB Nvidia GTX 675m
16Gb Ram

I dont know what else I should post. Any help or a point to the right direction would be very much appreciated. Thanks

I don't see anything wrong with the picture with the ENB. Bear in mind that you cant really just download a preferences  file from nexus and leave it at that, you should change your settings to something that fits your taste. If the ENB makes the game too colorful for you then either reduce the colour or download different ENB settings files. Without knowing what it is you want your ENB to do its difficult to say much more then that.

Thats the thing I dont know what figures to edit to achieve what I want xD.

Well you are kinda right though maybe I should have taken a better SS or a close-up pic xD. The thing that bugs me is not the environment but the character. The skin looks funny, maybe Im just not used to ENB that's why I find the textures weird o_O.

While ingame with ENB installed,  go ahead and do  Shift + Enter  and find the [Effects] tab.  Turn some things on and off and see what you like.  Go ahead and explore some other ENBs, change some settings, and have fun.  You can always remove ENB later, and your laptop looks strong enough for most mid-high ENBs with some tweaking.

That is really weird actually. I used Realvision before, and it shouldn't look that bad (no offense).

Maybe it's just the texture. Try this http://thepiratebay.se/torrent/8863991/Skyrim_Realistic_Overhaul_DG_v1_6_Optimal_%281k_2k%29

This texture pack is very performance friendly. But, it is still a significant improvement from vanilla environmental texture.

For the skin, did you install both patches (particle and scattering)?

Or try Somber Antique if you like Somber3, but can't stand the lighting.

An example image from my game (Somber Antique + ELFX + COT):

@Gordon yeah I tweaked everything that I wanted in there and it fixed my game looks better than the vanilla one now. I always thought that it was only tweak-able on the skyrim.prefs part. Enlightenment! Nuff said.

@Asenasen None taken mate! That's why I only said OK instead of good/great/amazing. Didn't really need the torrent link but thanks anyways. I think I use these

textures the ones up to 4k. And yes I installed both patches. Well its not the skin per se but uhmm the lighting surrounding the character that was bugging me. I just ticked the "UseOriginalPostProcessing"+ "UseOriginalObjectProcessing  and that was it really.

Thanks for all who tried to help Im sticking with Realvision atmospheric for now. With everything on + normal settings I get 30-35 FPS depending on what I'm doing. But shit starts hitting the fan when I go 3D 12-19FPS! Well good thing I use the performance version, minimal(sometimes nil) lag
