kjctnorris2000 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 I'm not very adept in installing mods but did it manually anyway. I downloaded quite a few mods so I'm not sure which one caused the problem, and like an idiot, I didn't back up the original data folder. So here are my questions - does anyone know what might cause all NPCs and my PC to be stuck in a mannequin pose and slide around when moved? Is there an easy fix to this or do I need to start from scratch? If I have to start from scratch, can someone link me to a site that tells me what I need to have in the data folder? Most of the mods I installed relate to sexlab, slaverun, and creatures (if this helps at all). Thanks in advance.
Guest Omega1084 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Install FNIS and run it. It's probably an animation mod you installed and without FNIS the game doesn't know what to do with it. FNIS: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11811/
kjctnorris2000 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 I do have the FNIS mod. I made sure to have all required mods, however, my fear is I did not install them correctly. For example, I installed skyUI, SKSE, sexlab, arousal, zaz animation pack, FNIS, customizable camera, prison overhaul, and slave tats and all was working fine. However, I had also installed slaverun, hydra_slavegirls, devious devices, sexlab enchantress and matchmaker, sexlab nude creatures, prostitution and slavery, and slaverun enforcer incorrectly. I then installed the ones I thought I installed incorrectly the correct way (or at least in the manner I thought was correct), and now I have this issue. I tried removing all the mods I installed after the issue arose, but the problem still exists. So, I'm thinking I may have overwrote a necessary file with a bad/incompatible file? Thanks for your help.
Guest Omega1084 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Go in your Data folder, look for a folder named "tools" look inside and run "RunFNISforusers.exe" It's in the FNIS page. Why don't people read the descriptions of the things they're downloading?
kjctnorris2000 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 I have already run FNIS. In fact, I ran it after installing each mod. Maybe I'm not understanding what you are suggesting. Edit: FNIS is showing no warnings. Says everything is successfully included.
AstarteN7 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 Use NMM if you aren't adept at installing them manually and make sure that those mods can be installed through NMM. Edit: make sure to tick gender exclusive animation because I assume you have installed the majority of the popular mods on here and they mostly require that add on ticked
Guest Omega1084 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 NMM can still mess up installations. In fact most new animations mods get left in the wrong folder if you're using PCEA. Check Data/Meshes/Actors/Character/Animations and see that everything is installed the way it's supposed to.
kjctnorris2000 Posted July 6, 2014 Author Posted July 6, 2014 Thanks for trying to help me out. I gave up and did a full install. At least it works now. I can't believe I didn't realize you could just drag the .rar files onto NMM. Other than SKSE, it was so much easier that way. Thanks again.
