JIP CC&C bug

The companion avatars and command textures don't work for me. Instead, they show the pip-boy error silhouettes. I have the latest NVSE and I've tried rolling back to NVSE 4v2 beta 3. I even tried reinstalling, but that still didn't work. I only have 79 mods active, so this shouldn't be happening.  The mod author couldn't think of a solution, so I'm asking here.

You ran archive invalidation right?

 

And i believe JIP CC&C needs MCM installed. Which is right here.

You should also run LOOT, which is here as well. And keep the merged patch at the bottom of the load order since LOOT doesn't  put it there.

I've done all of those things and the problem persists.  I'll just forget about the mod until I next have to re-install the game, which will eventually happen, considering how buggy this game is.
