Probably an easy thing to answer. If I use skyrim on a Mac with Cider, can I still use mods?

I want to check out More Nasty Critters 3.2, but I only have a mac. Though, I do have access to the game through Cider. Is there a way to get in there and still use the mods people make with that version?
