Keep offset animation during hit/havok stagger?

Hi,

 

I'm using offset animations from ZaZ pack to make NPC's hands tied when certain equipments are worn.

 

But the problem is, as soon as the NPC is hit by another NPC or being thrown by havok impulse, the offset animation is broken and ZaZ animation pack's periodic checking doesn't seem to help.

 

So, is there anyway I could make a NPC stagger, or thrown away while its hands are bound?
