CTDs - ZAD Script the culprit?

Hey there

 

I have a problem that I'm getting CTDs all the time without any visible reason.

The Papyrus log is telling me that the last messages before every CTD are caused by some script called "zad". Afaik it is part of the Devious Devices Mod (isn't it?) thus I tried to play the game without it.

In this test for about 1 hour the game ran smoothly without any crashs or problems. So I think that one is the culprit.

 

Now I have the problem that I'm using sanguine Debauchery+. This mod requires Devious Devices as a master. So is there any way to use SD+ without Devious Devices? Or maybe fix the issue for my crashs?

From your logs, there is no indication that Devious Devices caused the crash.

 

The fact that the last line of the log mentions Zad doesn't mean Devious devices caused your game to crash.

 

If anything, Devious Device seems to be working fine. The log messages about it are not about errors but perfectly normal status messages.

 

I would suggest looking elsewhere for the cause.

What were you doing in the game when the crashes happened?

 

The first time I was enterin Hjerim, the second time I was opening the map (I was somewhere in Whiterun this time) and the third time was a random crash in the wildernis (I was walking from Ilinatas Dept to Falkreath).

 

If DD isn't the cause then I'm very confused since the game worked stable when I disabled DD and SD+.

 

 

EDIT: Just had another crash when leaving the Mortar and Pestle. It's really pissing me off at this point.

I've been having same issue lately and cant figure out what would be causing it. Kinda hard when there is no errors at all
