OK so far Ive got the armor meshes imported and that all looks good. However, the skin texture on the body thats visible when wearing the armor is transparent. I know I linked them right in nifskope so what else could i have done wrong that would cause that?

did you read the tread about importing armor from Oblivion? it might give you a clue or hint or something... I don't play fall out so I have no clue but I do like that mesh you r importing ... good luck.

Yea thats the thread i'm following but it isn't giving me any ideas i'm afraid. As far as I can tell everything looks right. The armor itself moves right and doesnt clip is just that theres no skin.

edit: well this is strange, if I open the nif after its placed in the directory the body texture shows up in nifskope at least but the armor textures don't

Here is a link to a pic of what im talking about:

In the mean time im going to go work on the bikini top texture

That looks like you didn't set the BsDismemberskinInstance to a valid skyrim value for the missing meshes. If you have an invalid texture path it should still show up in game just as a brigh purple. The max plugin has a drop down box you just need to pick skyrim torso 1 for most things. No clue about blender you can set it to 32 in nifskope.

Tada, thankyou Arngrim11 that was exactly the tip I needed. Practically pulled my hair out over that. The instructions were a little misleading, they only referred to the "armor" when changing the dismember partitions to numbers. Anyway all good now. I think I am going to go back and add the sleeve now after all. Anyone know how to create an esp file. I would rather have a non-replacing mod out of this.

You'll need SkyEdit for that. Found this tutorial useful:

If you want ill do it, but you will need to tell me what you want for stats and such.

or if your feeling courageous, this is the tutorial I followed when I made Hentai's Karliah armor non-replacer

So I really wanted to see this mod,and rather then just bumping this thread I went ahead and made educated guesses and just made an esp for you

(just an .esp)

DL: http://www.mediafire.com/?4x27dzavaa72vrr

CC should be:

Yoko Top xx001000

Yoko Boots xx001004

Yoko Gloves xx001006

Should be craft-able under leather and upgrade-able

(has leather stats)

this is how the files should be named along with their _0.nif twin.

meshes\armor\yoko\yokotorso_1.nif

meshes\armor\yoko\yokogloves_1.nif

meshes\armor\yoko\yokoboots_1.nif

Let me know if you need anymore help on this.

Sorry for taking so long I was really having trouble with the stupid sleeve for some reason. Thanks a ton for just going ahead and creating the esp. I was gonna give it a shot myself but that would have taken even longer. Anyway heres what I have so far. Still not sure if Im completely happy with it or not. I had also considered making it for CBBE3 but as of right now thats still a little over my head.

Let me know if you find any thing that can be improved upon and if you have any ideas on what to do for the sleeve. I don't have anymore time tonight to mess with it otherwise I might at least try to find a fix for the wrist seam. Anyway, enjoy

Hello, I had the mod for a while, and it wasn't working until about a week ago. I have no idea what I did, but I can finally say that it looks great:). Just wanted to say thanks for making it, and to ask if you are still working on it to somehow make it better.

EDIT: I was imperial when it wasn't working, and I used the showrace menu to change into the custom race, Saiyan(it is heavily based on the nords). I also saw that there was no hair clip & Chopsticks for the hair (unless I missed it) so I was wondering if you were going to make one?
