Best way to update Sexlab?

I'm running 1.54; sometimes the animations don't align and the align key doesn't move them.

 

In any case could do with an update.  Should I use the 1.50-1.57 update or just to an overwrite with 1.57 complete?

 

Also will dropping SOS help with the alignments? The in-game move schlong up/down hotkeys keys don't seem to help.
