Mister_Monster Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 I know nothing about Modding. I don't know if it is even possible. I had been wondering about finding a nice ruin, clearing out the bandits, and taking over. And then I hit on Helgen Keep! What a perfect place! You have a whole town to take over. You could have a choice of guards, Thalmor, Imperials, Stormcloaks, bandits, or Skeletons for that truly evilll look. I just think of walking up to a skeleton guard on the wall and seeing it turn to you and saying, "Masssssster." Rework stables in the town. Add nekid slave girls (Sexlab compatible in dialog). Add a pair of sexy twin necromancers/archers/whatevers....who doesn't like twins? Add a few work stations in the town, and everything else is already there. Who doesn't need a torture chamber in the keep basement? Sure the place is a bit run down, but its free. And dragons flying overhead can see its already been hit. Heck, I would leave it still on fire.
Aliris Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 The biggest problem with modding Helgen, as I understand it, is the propensity to screw up the start of the game. I could be wrong on that though.
Spyder Arachnid Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 Like UnbraEternus said, Helgen Reborn would work. Really big quest mod to restore Helgen, which includes a player home with all sorts of goodies. Fully voiced and everything. Extremely well done. But like Aliris said, it can mess up a new game. So make sure it is deactivated until you finish Helgen (like when you get to Riverwood or something). Then activate to start the quest.
