The_Only_Janitor Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 I've got a bit of a problem with my models being way too glossy in game, like they are covered in Saran-Wrap. When I look at my models in nifscope, they look totally fine, without any glossyness at all. But when in-game, they look like they were wrapped up in plastic, any idea what's up?
Eiries Posted January 24, 2012 Posted January 24, 2012 Haven't messed with Skyrim meshes, but from past knowledge, make sure Specular Color is set to black (under NiMaterialProperty.) And that Glossiness isn't higher than 10. Might be the normals too, if it has alpha properties set it down way low. Also there's a strong possibility that some or none of these options even exist anymore. EDIT: Looks like it's under BSLightingShaderProperty now. In the Block Details at the bottom of the window. Still called Specular Color, still called Glossiness.
