CeeTeeDee Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 hi, so i can't load quicksaves or normal save games any longer when i start the game, unless i load an autosave first, if i load an autosave first i can then just load any save as usual... wtf?

CeeTeeDee Posted May 30, 2014 Author Posted May 30, 2014 nope, same with inside cells. if its inside and its a normal or quicksave file, on first load, the game crashes. but if i load an autosave, which works, first, then i can go ahead and load other saved games. i suspect its a memory leak... or a memory related problem, or perhaps a particular script error.
vaarasaarinen Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 i have the same though it doesn't do it systematiqurly....my experience is that if you have a load of mod that use scripts that can sometimes get stuck (sos or sexlab) then if you save with the stuck scritps it crashed when you load, somehow autosave doesn't do this.....

tomz31790 Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Try to "coc qasmoke" at the title screen then load the save from there, if you haven't already. I generally have to do that with all my saves do to the amount of scripts that build up.

tomz31790 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Hmm crashing when loading from that same save is a new one on me. My guess is it's either a dirty save or a mod is causing it, though no idea which one.
endymion1974 Posted June 2, 2014 Posted June 2, 2014 After a while (as in after I've gotten a bit into the game), I seem to always need to use the coc qasmoke trick to be able to load pretty much any of my saves. And I only need to use it once per game session. It's really strange, but I can live with it.
CeeTeeDee Posted June 2, 2014 Author Posted June 2, 2014 i've uninstalled & cleaned all scripted mods except skyUI, it only happens when loading skse_loader.exe i've started a new game, all ini's back to vanilla... it still crashes. i suspect its the newest nvidia driver i installed, or maybe its the prefetch acting up, it will crash, then work, then crash... its a memory/file problem. anyway... whatever...now to find a way to get my custom serana working with ^^
