Weird issues with Enchanting and smithing items

Hi, i was wondering if i could get some help with my issues with Enchanting and smithing. The issue is anytime i try to use Anvil, Tanning rack, Arcane Enchanter, Work bench, and grindstone. i activate it, menu pops up, but then 2 seconds or so later my PC backs up from the item as if i stopped using it. I have come too far on my character to start a new game and risk those item even working on the new game (Lvl 8 with lots of experience and perks).

Had that before myself when I tried out a continuous wood chopping mod. Even after I uninstalled it the issue persisted and I started a new game, not an issue for me at that time as was just fooling around trying out some new stuff.

 

I never botherred trying to find a proper fix but I am fairly certain there is one if that is what is causing your problem

This is a experienced effect I had also.  Look at deactivating most recent mod added when effects started.  We all know to make sure to update when possible all mods checking for conflicts.  I'm seeing a few potential issues, but many I do not follow on a regular basis.  The log and TESV Edit may give you good advise on fixing the issue.  One way I fixed it, was just hit 'esc' key and let my system sit for 10 mins then change zones to one of my homes and new save.  I found which of my mods was the conflict/problem and removed everything tied to it.  Worst case is almost one I am in now, total fresh re-install of everything.  Due to so many updates and my foolishness of playing around with others works for fun.

Had this issue with HDT HighHeels. Some one pointed out a fix. Go into HDT Highheels MCM menu, set priority 2.
