Zexan Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 I'm trying to get started on creating custom armors for Skyrim, I've done some on Fallout, but I'm seeing that getting stuff back into Skyrim is way more complicated. I'm getting started by trying to create some custom body nifs by editing premade body nifs. All of the armor creation tutorials I'm working from seem to have a lot of steps that I'm thinking are not necessary for what I'm doing at this level. If all I'm doing is moving around a few vertices, do I still need to do the weight painting, seam creation, adding UV map, and all that? I'm pretty much a complete newb at all this, so it's slow going trying to figure all this out. Most of the guides I'm finding to work from are a couple years old now. Any new tools or tricks that have come along to help me out? Any update on if Blender will ever have native support for Skyrim? Any guides or tutorials anyone would recommend that just cover what I'm trying to do?
