princessjemkat Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Please do not flag my post my copy is 100% legitimate purchased and downloaded through Amazon. I will include a screen shot. Now, can someone actually help me to figure out why my steam engine is not updating my game? Below is my screen shot of my 100% legal copy.   Update: There are TWO loaders for my game.. One says it is updated.. The other says my game is a 1.3... Any ideas? Pics attached
flutie Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 If you downloaded through steam it should have updated automatically, u may have to do a full re-install
hentaijin Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 Do you have this build? it's the latest. I don't think skyrim is ever getting more official updates.also check TESV.exe in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim or similar directory
nutluck Posted May 15, 2014 Posted May 15, 2014 As other said it should have automatically updated. Maybe try verification off skyrim through steam or worse case uninstall and reinstall skyrim by steam.
princessjemkat Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Ok.. so it is the SKSE that is not updated.. In the SKSE version launcher it says that my game is only at 1.3.2 or something.. But the normal launcher DOES say 1.9.. I completely unistalled and reinstalled last night and am about to load through Nexus to see if this has fixed it.

princessjemkat Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Ok... Just downloaded the 1.7 for SKSE - got an error during install that said that the directory was not found and should I continue anyway? Going to try now and let you know what happens.

flutie Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 Did u put skse in ur skyrim direcrory and try to lauch from the skse launcher. It should go in x86/steam/steamapps/skyrim
nutluck Posted May 16, 2014 Posted May 16, 2014 When installing SKSE don't use the installer do it manually, the installer is buggy at times.
